I don’t drink them, I can’t handle the caffeine.
It makes me super restless and anxious, and gives me headaches and racing thoughts. And I have to go the the bathroom like 9000 times with a 5-minute warning.

I once bought a whole case of Monster, and then I wound up getting headaches when I DIDN’T drink them, so I haven’t touched the stuff since. I don’t want to be addicted to something that screws me up that badly.

Energy drinks + Abilify for me was a nightmare. I think I wore a path in my floor tiles. That experience put me off energy drinks.

Before that I drank them often on Olanzapine though.

I’ve only ever had one energy drink because it was tropical flavour. It didn’t give me more energy. I thin I’m immune to caffeine.

I’m addicted to espresso shots now. I’m trying to keep them to 3 a day max. They have such an effect on me.

Try to limit your intake.

Some energy drinks contain taurine which might be addictive.

I have never drank.

I drank them back when I worked. They made me extremely anxious but I figured the nervous energy was good for productivity.

I drink energy drinks. I love them!!! They taste real good and got a bunch of caffeine. They don’t really give me that much energy.

I used to drink Monster every once in a while, but it never really helped give me energy. It was just a ton of sugar. Now I just use caffeine pills instead so I can skip all the empty calories.

Taurine is a natural amino acid. It’s not addictive, at least it isn’t for me. I use it for tapering off clonazepam and it helps with symptoms for about 2-3 hours.

Careful with those. I used to have one every morning for a psychically demanding job. After about a month I developed hand tremors during the evening.

I had a bad energy drink addiction in the past. I’m talking 3-5 a day, including an extra large can, no joke. I got better though, switched to coffee and have less.

I’ve been drinking them again though. I’ve probably had 4 or 5 since the new year. But it’s nothing compared to what I used to drink.
