The movie midsommer gave me ptsd like symptoms

that movie made me feel really weird, and i cant get it out of my head. I have been praying, cuz i like to keep my mind pure.

that movie made me feel so sick. I hate thinking about it. I wish i never watched it.

Also, I didnt even watch the whole thing, i stopped halfway thru. Does anybody else have a sensitivity to movies?

ive been watcing clean nice things to get my mind off of it

Well, yeah. The stuff I put in my head often plays over and over again in my head. Some describe that phenomenon as an artist’s imagination.

When I was so sensitive to stuff, I read lots of children’s inspirational literature. I found that fairly safe, and it challenged to boot!

When I resumed watching movies and TV after remarrying, (from 1997-2012 no movies, TV, radio, magazines, newspapers,or books,
the quality of special effects had me stunned.
I told my pdoc that all I could do was stare at the boob tube with my mouth hanging open.
She said I sounded like I just got out of prison.

Movies before had a lasting effect on me, but maybe since they are so realistic now, I’ve become desensitized to them?
