The hardest thing to realize

It’s all being created by yourself and your own mind juiced up on wacky brain chemistry. Absolutely nothing is being imposed on you from outside which is really impossible. It’s good to keep reminding yourself of this when symptoms flare up. You will still perceive that it is real from time to time but with rational insight into how your mind is doing it to you, you can regain a measure of healthy insight.

Oh yeah this was very difficult to accept that my mind created the voices. I even felt embarrassed that i was tricked into there world.

And it was all created by my own mind.

Yup, I don’t have voices but I have to do this with delusional thinking. I have to humble myself every day and tell myself that I literally know nothing and don’t have enough information to understand signs and symbols I see. Eventually it rewires your brain but the process is slow and takes time.

Thanks for sharing your experience. The tricky part is your brain is telling you “this is real, this is real” and then once you gain insight you have to tell yourself “this is not real… this is delusion… this was created by my faulty brain chemistry”… It’s like an inner war.

I disagree. I got things from outside. Everything is connected. Scientific materialism does not tell the whole story. I wish it did!

What things from outside do you have?
