Is keeping appointments and group therapy and individual therapy and other services through telehealth for another year. I have no privacy in my home. I’m frustrated because I can’t speak freely unless I sit in my car which is uncomfortable to do for an hour to an hour and a half. But I guess it is what it is
I have to go outside and sit at our picnic table to do my therapy sessions so my husband can’t hear it.
We live in a much smaller house now and are adjusting.
If you have to go to your car, just keep going to your car.
You need the privacy for these sessions.
Yeah. I do need privacy because I don’t want my family worried or the kids hearing things I don’t want them to know
My father barges in on my telehealth sessions.
I had to go outside and talk to my therapist the other day.
He feels entitled
I always sit in my car for phone sessions. We have went back to face to face, so I have privacy again.
Your dad is being inconsiderate and rude. I’m sorry you’re dealing with that
I’m happy for you that you have privacy again @ZombieMombie
I value my privacy too. I pay a price for it, but it is worth it.
In what way do you pay for privacy?
Isolation. I keep people away from me because I value my time alone.
That’s tough. I need human interactions. I couldn’t handle isolating like that. But I do get why you do it. Privacy at certain times and for certain things is essential
I say do what you gotta do.
I’m thinking about starting counseling sessions.
