In my case it is. My blood sugar was fine. Then after going on abilify it went through the roof. I assume if I came off abilify it would go back to normal. But I take metformin so it’s managed.

Same exact thing happened to me.
I’m managing also with metformin.

I’m very concerned about my diabetes that was caused by first Olanzapine then Abilify. So now I’m going cold turkey… No Abilify, no Metformin, no Lipitor and no Wellbutrin. If anyone has any experience with this let me know. Wish me luck!

This is not a good idea.
I would definitely continue with the Abilify, Metformin, Lipitor and Wellbutrin.

You can easily manage the diabetes with a healthier diet and Metformin.

But please don’t quit taking your meds.

Cold turkey is not how you stop taking meds. If you want to stop have your doc ween you off. I still recommend you do your medications.
