…So much I want to say, but can’t seem to put what I’m feeling into words at the moment.
Here goes:
I would first like to thank the mods and everyone here for making the forum a good, safe, and positive place to be.
This space has been a great source of advice, socialization, and comfort for me since 2019, around the time when I was newly diagnosed.
I’ve learned a lot, gotten to know some amazing people, and the forum has helped heal my mind and heart along the way.
In short: thank you everyone, for everything.
I will miss you guys more than you’ll know, and thank you for being a part of my life and letting me be a part of yours.

Thank you for giving me a safe place, I truly hope you are all rewarded big time with karma because to me; you guys saved me endless hospital visits and destitute living. You showed me medicine is important and schizophrenia is real - endless pain was averted because you all supported the community

The way I think people can look at this is you’re just moving to a new forum, it’s not “goodbye” to everyone. I recommend you make a username in new forums that people go to, that is very similar to the one you have here (the same if possible) so people from here will know you and find you on the new forum.

I spent months looking for forums and every one other than this one had a new message posted, oh maybe every 5 days. Here it’s every few seconds.
I appreciate all you did and It’s helped me greatly, but I just need to take this as an opportunity to do more legwork to get out there and socialize outside of the internet.

I want to say thank you to @SzAdmin for keeping this place open long after most other independent forums shut down. This place saved my life, and gave me hope at a very dark time. You have all changed my life for the better, the extremely better. I truly thought the best I could hope for was to stay out of the hospital and off the streets. The people here who had jobs, friends, family, and just plain joy with their lives made me realize that maybe I could, too. I can’t thank you all enough for being part of our community. I will miss you all.

Consider the rule against link sharing to be gone now. If people want to share links to places they can keep in touch, go ahead. Just keep in mind internet safety. We will continue to delete and email address, phone numbers, or other personal identifiers. We strongly discourage you from joining a new site that requires you to share your legal identity. Stay connected, but stay safe.
