Here is where I ride my bicycle, today I rode in this morning 14 kilometers, recently I was offered a free cruise from Helsinki to Stockholm and back, but I declined, because I do not want to travel any longer, I suppose I traveled so much when I was young, I enjoy riding my bicycle in my little town.
it looks wonderful…
Pic are good mjseu…keep on posting.more pics… i like ur photography…
I enjoy riding my bicycle because I am so close to our nature, today has been a warm day, over 20 C, I wish the weather stays like this …
It’s very beautiful, are people friendly there?
Yep, people are friendly, the place where I live is very peaceful, we do not need to worry about wars, terror or things like this, I am so far from big cities of this world, in the 1980s it was not possible to participate in the global conversation like this, but now the Internet enables it very well, I could be somewhere in the wilderness near Russia’s border and still communicate with you there in the world.
It’s an honor to talk to you, my friend, you have a wide soul,
You live in a beautiful idyllic setting @mjseu.
I have this philosophy, while other people may own their summer cottages where they go in summers, I have all the beaches of my little town, I do not need to own any summer cottages.
This is the town where I have lived since 2002 when I came back from America, over 15 years, I have not traveled much except a few trips to some neighboring towns. I really enjoy riding my bicycle, today I rode four hours, got a good suntan too, it was 24 C degrees, in winter I can not ride my bicycle so much because bicycle paths can be icy.
Your little town is much larger than mine!
I called it a little town, because it is small compared to cities where I lived in my old life, well New York City over 6 million people, Atlanta over 2.5 million people, …my little town not so much.
I think my town has about 2700 people.
I suppose you have not your own psych clinic in your town, I live just 300 meters from my psych clinic and psych ward.
No. We have a hospital, but it’s very basic. They’re only equppied to deal with old people, farmer injuries, and redneck injuries (injuries of the “hold my beer and watch this” variety). I live two hours drive from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I see psychiatrists and cardiologists there.
That gives the term “walk-in appointment” a very literal meaning.
Those pictures are very pretty… Its nice to see pictures of other places since I dont travel much. Travelled a lot when I was a kid.
