It seems pointless to where it concerns side effects to take the older generation antpsychotics alongside a newer one if thebside effects will still be there from the older med.

They’d be hitting excess dopamine from two different angles. I think a lot of people are going to do really well combining the new meds with the old ones.

It will get rid of the positives, but what about thr negatives. It’ll only mediate a little given the older antipsyhcotics exacerbates this issue surely is what i feel.
Like in the video he mentions people arent able to work. I dont see that they will if we still have the older ap in our system (in the other post the op shared)

That’s true. Personally my positives have pretty much caused my negatives but I’ve seen plenty of people complain about the old meds making negatives worse.

Olanzapine and other muscarinic antagonists have opposite actions to KarXT at muscarinic receptors so they’d be canceling each other out. I believe
