Okay, well this is the thing about that ESP phenom. It’s common, and it’s as old as humankind. It’s nothing new, and if you know what you are doing, you can also out wit someone who believes in it when you are someone who understands it perfectly. What it looks like to the person that believes in ESP is the person is reading his or her mind, and what it looks like to the person outmatching that person is that the ESP believer is being fooled by his or her own mental data.
It’s like taking two computers to a chess match, and people will place bets on which computer will win.
One computer takes in information about the game, and then it computes a move based on its programmed chess strategies. Therefore there is incoming “data” and “reactions to the data appropriate for the chess match” involved in the chess computer player. The reaction chess move is based on the perceived value of the total positions of the pieces on the board. The reaction program for how the computer plays chess with the opponent is based on the way that chess works.
What is key to understand about the first computer is that it is using rules to play based on the rules and real moves on the chessboard.
Then there is the second computer. The second computer is not programmed to react to the pieces on the chessboard according to chess rules. It’s reaction to the chess positions is almost always a bad move because it functions on non existent rules. Basically the second computer attempts to play chess, but it really is not playing chess because it reacts to the chessboard and positions the wrong way.
We know that the first computer wins every time, but do you call the second computer program corrupted program? You do I think. What that means is that the information about the game is not right. It is missing information. In human terms that means someone has is missing the truth, and instead uses faulty information and strategies based on faulty information to live and exist with oneself, so the person cannot exist with oneself in peace.
I think the common reaction to this person’s situation is to dim down the lights upstairs, so that the mind cannot process faulty information so quickly and fluently. There is more to it though. What about what the truth is about how humankind’s minds are working, and what is false about our faulty sz programming. The problem is not the facts, but instead the problem is in the willingness or ability to learn about this, and successful learn and override the faulty beliefs in ESP with practice and dedication. This is a problem of will, and like the saying goes, you can lead a herd to water, but whether the pond looses a drop of it all depends on the herd’s will. If people want to believe in ESP, they will spit out the truth, and they will continue to think of every way possible to the end of time to make themselves right without every exploring the world of people, and trying to solve real world problems with their faulty information. They are sheltered in the shadows from being exposed.
When people that know how minds work see people that believe in ESP, they realize that the believer will not interpret the information about what is going on correctly all of the time. This is why people usually steer away from sz people. Keep in mind that not everyone knows how minds work whether they are sz or not, but the people who do know can outwit the people who do believe in ESP no matter what form unless one thing…
…if the person believing in ESP doesn’t use the rules of ESP to solve the problems at hand.
For example I’ve always been very bad at dealing with people face to face. 20 years ago I had a difficult time speaking, and I could barely interpret what people were saying. The words were going in one ear and out the other. I had to keep practicing and practicing. I would up becoming very interactive online seeking out reality and what people around the world are like in reality. My mission what to figure out how other people are thinking because I knew that the way I was perceiving the world or other people went wrong somewhere.
I now solve people’s problems on a regular basis. There is practically nothing I can’t figure unless I just have not researched the area before. But the problems do not relate to human beings.
That is the key you have to understand here. I wired by brain to interpret feelings, inner voices, thoughts, and 5 senses about people to believe there was ESP going on, so I could not interact with people without becoming emotionally wrecked. That’s why I wear the sz hat.
But I learned that when I tried to learn and solve people’s problems and my own mechanical and financial problems, I could do that without a problem.
It would be like I was the second computer that could not play chess, but I could play Texas Hold 'em Poker really well. This is true in reality by the way. Hehe. But that is beside the point.
And I guess what I did was pass the problem I could not solve in life, and go on to solve other problems working very very hard until I came full circle back to the ability to solve my mental problem. Now I talk to people about it, and teach them what I know.
