The only thing to fear is the fear itself.
When you have learned that what you perceive is not the problem, but the tilt you perceive it with is, then you will know you can perceive anyone or anything with another tilt to see it another way. When you know that everyone could do this, but not everyone does, you will be much farther ahead of most people.
What is unusual to the normal people about the sz culture is that the sz culture sees there mind as being an ESP sink full of ESP dishes so to speak. Even the psychologists think this.
To the outside world it looks like we in the sz culture are not just chasing our tails, but our tails are chasing us. Imagine how funny that would be to see in reality.
And lets think about that dog, and compare that dog to the sz people. The dog see its tail. The dog runs from its tail, but why? What is wrong with that tail?
No, you should not ask the question what is wrong with that tail? You should ask what does that dog think that tail is, and then by reason of deduction trace back to why that dog sees its tail as something other than itself.
The dog has some how learned that the tail is another being that is scary or bothersome. When it’s scary to the dog, the dog runs. When it’s bothersome to the dog, the dog bites it in anger.
The dog cannot understand words, so there is no way to tell the dog that the tail is okay, but it’s the way that the dog sees the tail that is not right. There’s no way to teach the dog the truth, and change the lense of perspective from green lenses to clear lenses to so speak.
For the sz battle the problem was learning the wrong thing about minds and make believe ESP imagery beings etc, but that is done. Now the problem is the willingness to learn the truth, and then with that truth see our imaginations as being our own like the dog needs to learn that the tail is its own.
Because when you don’t care that your tail is there, you don’t get angry, and you don’t get scared.
No one cares if your imagination is there. They only care what you can do for them. That’s a real lesson in life. So when you learn that some time’s your imagination is useless to you and everyone else, then you will realize that is the case for most people.
It’s important to HAVE your imagination, not RUN from or HATE your imagination. Because when you do that, you look like that poor dog that runs from its tail.
