But the therapeutic dose for olanzapine is 10mg I think. So you were on a sub therapeutic dose for that too.

I kept skipping my meds and wasn’t doing good so my psychiatrist wanted me to take an injection.

100mg is a low dose. i took that dose as a young kid tho. my lowest dose was 100 and my highest was 1200mg. but 5mg is also a low dose. u could look up a dose conversion calculator and see what the quitiapine dose is for 5mg olanzapine.

75mg is the dose for 5mg olanzapine so i should hopefully be okay

i dont think thats how it works. it depends on dose converstion. like 400mg quitiapine is def stronger than 5mg olanzapine.

i just did the conversion. 5mg olanzapine is the same as 75mg quietiapine.

it will all depend on how u react to each drug. some drugs will work better for some and some wont.

I was on 50mg of qiatiapine before but it did nothing

Starting out on 100mg quetiapine is a good idea to see if you tolerate it. I think 200mg is considered lowest effective dose for sz, but you could get by on less if you are sensitive to meds. Just keep in touch with your doctor and monitor yourself.
