Me too. But I’m told if we practice it, over time we get better at it and it starts to work. My therapist said to do grounding techniques when I’m not afraid or anxious and that will help me later when I am.
Focus on calming things to help you relax. Take deep breaths and slow down. Listen to music, watch something relaxing or do something that will calm your body and soul. You will be okay. Call somebody who you trust, and just chat. We are hear for you, too.
fadetoblack. write down everything that is making you anxious and upset. then circle the ones that you feel able to help yourself with. the big stuff that is worrying you, you should discuss with your therapist if you have one or a friend to ease the burden. when you see it on paper you will know that the problems are with limits just like us.
