So I’m going to ballet soon and I have new leggings, a new leo/leotard, a new little skirt thingy, aaaaand new ballet shoes. I get to try them all out today so I’m super duper excited.
Odd you posted that, I watched the Movie Black Swan last night, freaky movie but about ballet
How is it freaky if you don’t mind me asking.
I used to know a whole bunch of good ballet movies but I can’t think of any at the moment.
Nina (Natalie Portman) is a ballerina whose passion for the dance rules every facet of her life. When the company’s artistic director decides to replace his prima ballerina for their opening production of “Swan Lake,” Nina is his first choice. She has competition in newcomer Lily (Mila Kunis) however. While Nina is perfect for the role of the White Swan, Lily personifies the Black Swan. As rivalry between the two dancers transforms into a twisted friendship, Nina’s dark side begins to emerge.
Her dark side is freaky
It does sound kinda freaky.
Good for you!! It’s good to be excited about something.
By the way, be careful of falling.
Oh cool! I always wanted to learn ballet!
I took ballet when I was a little girl of about 5 years old. But when it was determined that my younger sister was a klutz and not suited for the ballet, we were BOTH pulled out of the classes. I ask you, how is that fair? Just because SHE was a klutz, I have to miss out too? That is NOT fair. My parents for some odd reason thought that we had to do everything together. Why? We were not twins.
@77nick77 Haven’t fallen yet though there have been a couple times where I have stepped on my toes when we have practiced jumps.
@Anonaccount no that is not fair though you should try to not dwell on it a lot. It only holds on to negative emotions which aren’t good.
