STEAMS MY HAMS! I love that.

Gross. And people wonder why there is still stigma! Because people “learn” from careless people like her.

Idk who was worse her or the class. the amount of people who were “fascinated” with serial killers and “psychos” was nauseating. Like there were a few good people in that class but the majority…yikes.

Sometimes I wonder if it’s the neurotypical people that are the sick ones🤷🏽‍♀️

I think narsaccists are drawn to psychology because they think they can use it as a tool for control but eventually abandon it because they get to the point where they start to understand they are sick.

I disagree with this list a bit; I think there are a lot of psychopaths and narcissists who are in psychology.

I think people see personality changes when it’s really just a change in behavior.

When I told my therapist about my fixed belief about living past lives, she was completely interested. Said that it could be true. Totally entertained the fact that I could have live other lives.

Still having difficulties trying to make myself realize this isn’t true. I know it has to be a delusion but ■■■■ man does it ever feel real.

If it isn’t real why on earth would I remember so much about other places I’ve never been and people I’ve never met. I’m unconvinced.

“Everyone has a hard time.” I hear this all the time from well-meaning normies.

“Snap out of it.” Is a very rough statement. I wish I was as strong as normies, or as oblivious/insensitive to everything going on around me.

Then there are cruel people who will figure out through the grapevine about my triggers, and use them against me to put me on the back foot.

That comment says more about that person who made the comment, than the comment itself towards the person taking the pills.

I feel like I’m saying everything long winded and backwards today.

Everyone’s idea of crazy is different.

I think psychopaths might be tempted to study psychology at least a little, but eventually they find out that it isn’t lucrative or that it won’t give them the upper hand over people like they thought it would. The jobs listed there are better for shoring up a psychopath’s need to assume authority. I think the rigor of psychiatry training would weed out most bad apples… Most. There are surely some jerks who slip through the cracks, just as it is with all.

I do disagree with the nurse thing. Some of those people can be really hard, cold, manipulative, and abuse their position to be sadistic.

Isn’t that what they did to the Unibomber,Ted Kaczynski, at Harvard?

I’ve not heard of this?

“Insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results” one of the dumbest nonsense sayings ive ever heard. That has literally nothing to do with insanity

Lol, I was going to mention that one.
Just respond with, “No sh*t, it’s a disease of the brain. Idiot.”

OMG, that’s terrible. One of my MIL’s commented that a guy she knew was super crazy and had that “schiz-whatever disease.” I started to cry and my husband had to explain to her that I am schizoaffective and he explained what it really is. I’m happy that my husband stood up for me, but it broke my heart about what she said. She is the only one on my husband’s side who knows about my illness so far.
