You have no reason to apologize. You were trying your best. Do you feel safe tonight?
It’s ok @FlyingPurplePeopleMeeter. How are you feeling now?
@FlyingPurplePeopleMeeter I am so glad you are alright. Don’t apologize, you did nothing wrong.

Im glad youre safe @FlyingPurplePeopleMeeter. 5 hours is a long time. There is no need to apologize, and were all just glad youre ok.
Do you have a plan on what to do next?
Glad you’re okay.
I’m glad you’re home now @FlyingPurplePeopleMeeter
Glad you’re ok and things were handled properly.
@Ninjastar
Yes, I do. Thank you!
@LilyoftheValley
Just very embarrassed and still very anxious. Thank you!
@GrayBear
Your constant support today was INCREDIBLE! Thank you, thank you!
@zwolfgang
I’ll take any suggestions! I will continue with counseling and intensive outpatient therapy. I see my psychiatrist on July 3. I’m scheduled to receive iv ketamine treatment in August. I’m not sure what to do about my anxiety on a day-to-day basis.
@TomCat
Thank you!
@Leaf
Me, too! Thank you!
@Cici2
Thank you!
Dont really have too much to suggest, mostly just wanted to know if youll be ok long term.
However Id say knowing what to do if this happens again would be helpful, as in a plan for who to call (ie your husband, your counselor) and what to say (like "Im having a panic attack please help me at [address, which btw you should have handy ahead of time wherever you are in case this happens]), and most importantly have it written down and on you at all times, that way its concrete and you cant blank on it when youre having an attack.
This has personally saved me multiple times. It sucks to have to do this but when youre mentally ill you have to accomodate that unfortunately.
You might also ask your pdoc about adding a benzo to your meds for anxiety, but only if you arent prone to addiction, unlike me
These are great ideas, @zwolfgang! Thank you! I’m sorry you’re prone to anxiety. I’ve never tried a benzo. I don’t even know if my psychiatrist prescribes them. I’m glad they help so many people, but I’m not sure I would benefit.
I agree you have nothing to apologise for.
Good that you eventually got to leave the bathroom and seem to be feeling better.
Louis! Were so glad to hear you’re alright
I don’t think anyone here thinks you need to apologize we all go through it from time to time. Sending love and prayers your way!
@anon92887483
You were a HUGE blessing and help today! Thank you for staying in with me those long hours! I really missed you and was counting down the days until you came back! Thankful for you!
Thank you so much @Truemist8!
Thanks @FlyingPurplePeopleMeeter I appreciate it
I’m so truly sorry that you’re having struggles. It sounds like you’re pretty upset. What I do is accept the anxiety, feel it, and it goes away quicker. Try grounding techniques. Try to stay in the here and now.
Pm me anytime.
Louise, I’m so sorry that I just saw this now!
I hope you are doing ok and feeling better.
I’ve actually been overwhelmed by noise before and I used to confuse them as voices.
I’m here for you and I will always be here. We will always be here.
Hey there, i wonder how you are now? Did things calm down?
Thanks for the tips @JustTrish!
I’m sorry you know what it’s like @anon10648258. Thank you for the support!
I came home. I slept three hours. This morning my husband took a few minutes before leaving for work to help me realize why I stayed in the bathroom initially.
I’m just terrified, Girl. I want to take great care of the kids, I have lots of laundry to do, I need to do dishes and pick up toys. But I’m really shaky and haven’t been able to eat.
Thanks for checking in!
