Story ideas

A lot of my ideas come from my dreams, and usually I think about my dream while dreaming and wonder what I can add to it to make it a story… so here were my two story dreams of last night:

First one is about a family who can warp reality and go into different timelines and mess with physics. The kid is practicing and gets into a different reality than his parents while trying to save the girl named “Six” because she has these powers, but when he returns it’s in the time where his parents had just given birth to him so he’ll die if he returns with them, so he goes into another time line. He’s at school but it’s strange, Kim John Un is there and they have to salute him because he won the “war” with Donald Trump. He has to escape. I forget the rest of the dream.

Second dream is more sad. It’s about a man who can go into the future or past, but he can never go back once he visited that year. He goes past in time in 1986 and meets a girl he falls in love with. She dreams about the day she can get a teddy bear that the man described of since it reminded her of her childhood. but cannot as it hasn’t been made yet. So the man goes to the year 2005 to get it, but he can’t return. Saddened, he goes into the future to figure out how to get back and he meets another girl. They fall in love and she tells him how he can’t go back to that year once he’s visited. Distraught, he kills himself. The time power now transfers to her so she can give the women the teddy bear.

Also dreamt about how I was a harison hawk stuck in a school and I was flying out, avoiding my father and shape shifted into a fly, then back into a hawk as I met a little girl. A teacher was trying to catch me but I couldn’t escape because the windows were closed. So the little girl in the pink jacket opened it for me and I flew out into the snowy air. She followed me because I beckoned her, but I don’t remember why. I tried to talk to her but I only chirped and screeched. Then I saw a little boy in the snow not moving. The windows in the school were closed because it wad dangerously cold outside, so while the snow got heavier I turned into a snowy owl and called to the boy. I flew to him and he looked at me. He could hear me speaking in my head. I told him he had to move or he would die. Then the dream changed

You can try writing short stories at first. Even Stephen King, yes THE Stephen King has stated that dreams are a great source of inspiration for his books.

If you haven’t found your calling yet, maybe this is it. Start writing !
