Stopped melatonin

Felt great at first after stopping, maybe even improved sleep. But the past couple of days I’ve been feeling really tired and low energy. I was taking 1mg, so on the low side. I wonder if I’m going through some withdrawals or my body readjusting to producing more of its own melatonin.

I had too take melatonin 20mg last night because I drank too much coffee

I usually sleep 12 hours on it but I feel good when I’m awake

I’m gonna try quitting tonight

good luck. for me the melatonin made me wake up too early some times, which made me suspect that it may be messing with my sleep instead of improving it. But I’ve been taking it for so long that I can’t remember if that happened also before I started taking it.

Man this is rough, I haven’t been this low energy in a long time.

Maybe take regular sleeping pills? I know they ain’t good for you but i take them And i get a solid 12 hr/night

I know nothing about them, I’m careful with adding any heavy medication (if they are?). I’m hoping my sleep will stabilize but we’ll see.
