I got almost half a years worth from the pharmacy. I feel relieved because I am totally dependent on them, for sleep too.
I will try to always have a reserve at home.

Life is kinda’ joyless for me when I am on Zyprexa. It leaves me mildly depressed. I gain weight on it too. I guess it’s a good med., but Geodon and Seroquel handle my symptoms pretty well.

I liked seroquel, but can’t sleep on it. Also I got pain in my chest. Same thing happened with Latuda.
Looks like I’m stuck on zyprexa. 17 years and counting.

You know sometimes 3 antipsychotics are better than Two and that’s something all of us treatment resistant must live with. I’m slowly beginning to accept that any kind of changing anything about my treatment no longer is possible. so I’m stock on two antipsychotics at medium dose for the next many years.

The pharmacy gave you 6 months of pills? Wow I didn’t think they could do that.

I can whitdraw 3 packs maximum at the same time. Zyprexa 7.5mg happens to have 56 pills in each pack. However when I was taking 5mg, there’s only 28pills in each pack.
Yes you can. I think it is totally legitimate to ask your doctor if you can stock up extra at home, to be prepared for emergencies if one has a concern.

Problem I find is ppl can overdose
I know of a couple people that overdosed themselves many years ago
Here , I get it week by week now
I used to get monthly prescriptions but that stopped during pandemic

Yeah. Maybe not a good idea to have lots of meds if it’s a risk factor for suicide. I have never seriously considered that though, so I’m ok with having it.
