Statistics homework

My class is half statistics. Quarter journalism. Quarter poetry. 8 credits per quarter. I’ve barely done any work so far but my teacher is really nice. She knows I’m having a difficult adjustment and letting me make up all my work by Friday or Saturday… She said if i do all the statistics homework and go to class, thats 4 credits right there I told her I was good at statistics in hs I got the highest grade in my class of statistics and I was the statistician for the basketball team… So she said just do the statistics homework that’s half the class there. So I’m doing it right now. Pretty easy. Then will do some journalism later (poetry quarter is NEXT quarter). But I figure I wanna enjoy college so I’m switching my major, AGAIN to cultural studies. No clue what I’ll do with that major but my school is #1 for cultural studies. The courses designed are so creative. But I’m taking a class about the Silk Road and eastern culture. Like a class on eastern philosophy, religion and culture next quarter. But for now I will do my best with the statistics course. I’ve run all my thinking by my roommates and they say I’m at the perfect school to change my mind a bunch of times and also the best school for culture studies… It’s very accommodating here. The statistics class isn’t exactly for me but I will take what I can get. The professor is from China and she’s soooo friendly and smart. Back to statistics hw now. Good mood today. My mom also says culture studies, just trying to enjoy college rather than setting a set career for myself right off the bat is a good idea. A lot of these classes are intertwined like multiple majors per class. Like I could be taking a cultures studies class and also it be an environmental studies class. What I like about this school. The end.

This was one problem!

I think I just earned a meal I’m so hungry. I feel like John Nash I just did a 2 page long problem. And I did it will. Proud of myself.

I hated statistics in college. I had to take statistics and I took statistics for behavioral sciences for my psychology degree. I remember the incredibly long answers you had to write with them! It was exhausting! So glad I’m graduated and over with it. Good luck though seems you got the hang of it.

Took some adjustment but yeah I’m excited now! The real kicker is in my class in the next two quarters it has the option to involve a three week study abroad program in China and Japan! But shhhhh keep this hush. I have tons of work to do/improving before I can do this and get my parents permission (even though my moms in love with the idea) but it’s an option that’s got me really motivated rn. I’m not sure if I should be sharing this with the board but oh well. :confounded:

That’s an excellent opportunity, you’ll love to go there, I’m sure, they have such fascinating cultures

Why shouldn’t you share? If you decide not to go it’s not a big deal

I was thinking some people might have some jealousy and or discourage me against doing it. Not cheap to do. But it’s actually quite reasonably priced. But a lot of people on the board wouldn’t be able to afford it which is why I have hesitations posting this. It truly is a once In a lifetime thing. We would learn about Buddhism, Confucianism firsthand and all types of eastern cultures.
