Like don’t want to give out false expectations as we are all different and it seems for the psych stuff to be for specific people but no worries and any questions hit me up. I may not be around all the time these days but I pick up stuff through my email and get back when I can.
It’s worth the effort in the meantime simply for health…I recommend you see your gp and get the data on your health with things like heart and cholesterol etc…and don’t expect radical change overnight.
Keto is a different diet. It is restrictive for a lot of food but you can still eat well. I’d also say exercise helps. If you can do it medically then add what you can. I think it helps the process but that is just my opinion and I’m just as new to all this. I only started around april or so last year.
I had to restart keto… Again… My husband had birthday cake so ate that for about a week… I gotta try and I mean really really try… Sigh everyone sees a difference when I’m on keto I just have a hard time sticking to it when there’s cake around
Yeah sugar is hard to let go of. It really is and I’ve the same problem…
If I lapse I go hard so carbs and things like bread aren’t too hard for me to let go of…That gawdamn sugar though!
Hang in there. I had a day on sugar and put on 1 kg this week so it impacts me negatively so it gives me a good excuse to work harder…and that is a good thing because 6 months later I’m getting better at it.
Honestly. I think one bad day a week probably isn’t too bad but depends on how far you go. I still like the odd treats so I make sure it works…I know it’s hard but keep trying. It really has made a positive difference in my life on so many levels and I’m holding back from sprouting about how much a difference it’s made simply because I’m not sure it’s for everyone in our community which kinda sux when it does work.
Hey @Twialine . How are you doing with it? Did your restart and get going again? It’s hard work but it does work for some and it’s worthwhile sticking too it and getting back into it. I’m curious about others results as it’s worked well for me.
@rogueone I ate pure peanut butter, sugar free syrup and a rice cake yesterday! It was all within my diet gild lines! I was so happy! I’m eating keto cereal this morning!
Hey…just catching up! I’m doing very well and feel some good cognitive gains so been busy doing things. Sticking to some projects which is promising and doing lots of exercise.
Keep on keeping on. I think it’s worth the effort and 8 or so months later I’m still losing weight and feeling so much better mentally!
