Well, today my pdoc gave me a sample of Cobenfy to start on Monday. I need to titrate off of the clozapine for the next 3 days then start the Cobenfy. I’ll still be on Zyprexa, too, at least initially. I hope it helps get rid of the Trifecta (the 3 voices i hear).

@WhiteRaven Please tell me how you feel after 5 months of Cobenfy. I wish you well!
I’m doing okay on Cobenfy after 5 months. I also take 10mg Haldol nightly. I still have some voices but i haven’t had any delusions since i started it. Normally you take Cobenfy twice a day, but with my pdocs blessing i just take it once a day cuz the dry mouth it gives me is really bad (it starts about 15 minutes after taking it and lasts about an hour…it’s so bad you can’t even chew gum). That’s the only side effect I’ve had from it. It’s an okay med, not as good as clozapine but tolerable.

I don’t really experience too many negatives other than avolition and anhedonia. The Cobenfy doesn’t seem to affect those very much. I just have a hard time with motivation to do things and an inability to experience pleasure. I’ve never had a med that helped with those.

Cobenfy gave me terrible lower back pain and I had to stop taking it.
