Any experience with Cobenfy?

Hi folks. Any new users of Cobenfy here? What’s up with this med? Is it any good?

Best regards.

Made me nauseous and vomit. Had to stop.

Really? That is sad. How long were you on it? Did it help you mentaly ?

Only a week, wasn’t on it long enough to tell.

Thank you for your input.

I’ve heard of others taking it without side effects. Only way to know is to try it.

I’ve been on it since November. I only take it once a day, at bedtime, whereas usually it’s taken twice a day. I do this because it gives me really bad dry mouth about 15 minutes after i take it that lasts about an hour, so i just take it before bed.

It’s okay at reducing voices and delusions. I still hear one voice but i haven’t had any delusions since last October. I don’t think it’s as good as clozapine at reducing suicidal ideation…in fact, i think it has zero effect on that. It definitely helps with paranoid thinking, tho.

Overall, it’s a good med for me. No side effects like QTc-prolongation or munchies or tardive dyskinesia. I would prefer to be on clozapine but cannot, and Cobenfy has been an okay substitute.

On it now. Working slightly better than Vraylar for negs, but it’s not the wonder drug people make it out to be. My positives are worse, but I’m on a second med that increases dopamine production. It’s more likely to blame. Nausea is a problem, yes.

I don’t understand why everyone lost their shxx over this med. It’s sure not a breakthrough, just another incremental improvement with outsized marketing.

I don’t have any upset stomach or anything. I’m on the 50/20 dose. I took 100/20 once and felt really sick.
