I tried Cobenfy and had hope for it, but it made me uncomfortable and irritated my eyes after two weeks. Now I’ve come to the conclusion that my mental illness is more PTSD then schizophrenia as schizophrenia medication never works and I have minimal voices and feel a lot of stress. Now I’m trying Zoloft for the first time ever also have zyprexa for evening and take an Invega shot once a month. I think I don’t really need medication as it does more harm then good and that if Zoloft works I could possibly discontinue zyprexa and invega… Just hope Zoloft can relieve stress and put me in a better state of mind.

Two weeks sure isn’t a lot of time to adjust to a med’s side effects. I started having better results when I stayed on meds for months instead of weeks, with the exceptions being the ones that were disabling or outright dangerous.

My pdoc told me it’ll take at least 5 weeks to find out if Cobenfy works for me, but the only adverse effects I’ve been having is dry mouth and constipation, which are easy to deal with. I’ve been noticing a little tachycardia lately, too, but nothing major, it’s only been like 110 when sitting. I hope the Zoloft works for you!
