Anyone on cobenfy?

I asked ChatGPT and it told me that there is cobenfy for schizophrenics which should be helpful with cognitive symptoms. Has anyone any experience with it? It’s not allowed yet in my country.

I’m holding off on it despite being cleared for it on my benefits and it being available in Canada. I’m waiting to see how it is for others first. From what I have seen so far some people are experiencing a mild improvement while on it, but nothing as dramatic as the marketroids promised.

I took it but could not tolerate the side effects.

It helped me not mentally “perseverate” anywhere near as much as I was.

This is a huge thing considering my mental perseverating was causing me a big problem.

I’m sure glad I don’t perseverate.

Nope.

I don’t.

Not at all.

Nope nope!

Whew.

[checks self for perseverating]

Cobenfy has helped with my voices in particular and delusions but it doesn’t help my suicidal ideation like clozapine did.

I just finished a 9 week clinical trial using it.
My positive symptoms were the same using it, not much voice-wise. It did cause a lot of constipation. And a lot of manic thinking, I was a little more OCD on it.
The worst part of it was weakness in my fingers on my left hand. I was unable to play guitar after I first got home, I’ve been back since January 8th and I’m just starting to be able to fret bar chords again. That’s the first time I came off a study and wasn’t able to pick up my guitars and play just fine, even after not playing for up to four months.

If my pdoc tries to use it to help me, I’m gonna say no thanks. Most of the time my meds have to be a little high on the mg side. Doesn’t bother me anymore. I’m trying not to kill my pancreas. Good luck folks who are taking it. Take it easy. Hugs
