After questioning this whole sobriety thing over the weekend, IOP made me feel a lot better about it. If only I could do IOP forever…I like it much better than AA. But I can’t. But for now IOP should suffice. Good experiences, the guys in my group were very encouraging. Reminded me of this forum with the encouragement and help I got there.

I’m not gonna say which IOP it is but I’m in Connecticut. They have three IOP’s in a 4 town radius where I live. I didn’t realize they were as rare as you guys make them sound to be. They have day programs where they have dual-diagnosis AND sole mental-illness and they have night programs for just dual-diagnosis. And they have an adolescent program in the later afternoon. At all three places I believe.
