Started eating healthier more varied diet about two months ago, is the next step for improvement exercise? Need motivation

I think I feel a little better overall, I have less anxiety.

Now I’m considering doing exercise. But those times I have exercised I don’t feel like I felt better because of it.

So should I do exercise? What if exercise gives me no benefits?

Can someone give me some motivation to start exercise?

Yes

If you don’t get your heart rate up for at least 10 minutes, you won’t get your endorphins kicking. That’s what feels good after exercising.

I used to do loads of walking every day
Not been well last couple years don’t do much exercise

You know what? I have a few times gotten into walking and felt better physically, lost weight and had improved mental health. But right now I’m so out of shape and unhealthy I have been really struggling with motivating myself to get started. Enter my sister with a gift of a fitness watch, instant motivation.

It counts your steps, tracks your sleep, measures your heart rate, depending on the model tracks other fitness goals. It talks to your phone and then your phone gives you the data, and it really makes you compete with yourself to improve daily.

And yes, with the energy you have from feeling better from eating right I think it’s best to invest it in exercise because then you’ll have even more energy and feel even better.

Ok so I haven’t exercised in over a year. I just exercised for 15 minutes following a cardio YouTube video.

I felt incredibly weak. Will I feel stronger if I continue?
