Spiders 15spiders

Creepy little buggers. Yesterday I saw one on my wall next to my pc. I tried to get something to smash him and he quickly took off and disappeared on my movement. Disappearing into my multicolored rug.

Just now, I was lying in bed with all the light off. The only light was my computer screen and saw a little shadowy figure run up my chair and behind my neck pillow. I got up try to find him but could not.

So now there is a nice sized, fast moving, creepy crawly loose somewhere in the vicinity of my computer chair.

Creepy stuff.

Who else dislikes loose spiders in their house?

I once felt something on my hand. Put the light on and there was a huge (real) spider. Smashed it when it was sitting on my nightstand.

No I don’t I like spiders. Spiders come into homes in the winter. I usually have pile of dead woodlice behind the fridge come spring. Their harmless.

I leave the huntsmen spiders alive as they eat the other critters out here and they are mostly harmless. Most other spiders I delete as things like the redbacks are populous and poisonous and I’m not into that for sure.

It’s Australia out here and you get used to critters who’ll do you damage. You just get used to it!

I especially dont like venomous spiders like black widow spiders. We have alot of those around – usually in the yard on wood or around the house foundation, sometimes in dark corners of the garage. I am always on the lookout for them.

The spiders in the U.k are not venomous or dangerous in any way. I never harm them. If I see one I catch it in a glass and put it outside.

In my hometown there was a spider a small one that always comes back of my system to catch any insects so I let the spider be behind my system it will keep my surroundings safe. But depends on the type of spider you got there !

On the house we lived in when I was 12 we lived in an old house in the countryside and there were massive spiders. One time I had a shower and when I got out there were three or four night black spiders so I realised I had a shower with them
Then I was lining in bed reading and a massive brown spider crawled down the side of my bed so I put teddies and pillows down the the cracks
Don’t like spiders :spider:

Here where I live we have these spiders we call Grandaddy Long Legs. We would play with them as kids.

Well. It has officially infiltrated my dreams. I went back to sleep and dreamt about it being on me and trying to catch it.

My dog is sniffing/snorting heavily around the edge of the bottom of my amplifier near my computer this morning. Perhaps she’s on it’s trail?

I dont mind spiders, here in the UK theyre not dangerous. The big ones creep me out a bit but if i see one i just leave it alone.

People imagine that a spider might crawl on them but ive never had that happen to me, i think theyre smart enough to know thats a good way of getting squished.

One morning way back in the day, I had just woken up and was stumbling towards the bathroom to brush my teeth.

I stood in front of the sink and felt something soft graze my bare foot.

Down underneath the bottom lip of the sink unit where my foot had been was a giant hairy spider just chilling.

I ran the hell out of the bathroom and was legit scared to go in there for a long time.

…To this day, I still check underneath the sink before brushing my teeth.

I remember a spider running across the floor in my bedroom one time, yeah spiders on the lose in your house is terrifying. But for me it’s not nearly the worst bugs. I freaked out when I saw a tick in my room, it was filled with blood!! Probably has sucked blood out of my cat, or even worse, me.
