I would recommend volunteer work
You can do a little and then build it up
It is nice to get into routine
Looks good on your CV and you can do paid work later on
Good idea. I was doing volunteer work at a thrift store. But my paranoia got the best of me. Certain people that would come in often triggered it. And there was this one guy I worked with who I was friends with, and he ended up being something like a ‘stalker.’
I can always volunteer somewhere else though. Ymca, thriftstores, food pantries.
Thank you for the suggestion.
Edit: Didn’t want to offend anyone with that diagnosis
i want to do admin too, i am pretty good on the phone and i am ok on the computer, i do about 3-4 hours a week calling people and admin in my volunteering place and i really like it, i was looking for small office jobs today as well and i thought i found one because it sounded perfect it was 7.5 hour work over 2 days and it sounded similar to what i am doing just now in my voluntary job but i applied and it said it had been filled
i was looking everywhere like council jobs, police jobs, Cordia jobs, Nhs, Army, there was nothing for me.
btw @Chrishasheart i used to do a bit of mig welding and its really cool, just got to watch your eyes and look out for fires, i burned my eyes a couple of times looking at the flash for a second because i was tacking something, leaves your eyes all red and dry, so get a good visor and if you smoke dont put a lighter in your top pocket of your overalls, a guy did that and he was burned quite badly when a spark burst his lighter and it set alight,
Right on. Here in America we have the ticket to work program. Although from what I’ve read from the govt.'s website it’s a program designed to transition you away from getting benefits.
