I can, but it’s work. Don’t you wish food were available at the snap of a finger? Then demand feeding would be do-able.
I have a love/hate relationship with food. Ultimately, I wish we didn’t have to eat at all. We don’t have to drink alcohol so I can avoid it completely and it’s not a real problem, but we have to eat food so my addictive personality struggles. I’d rather not eat at all because it always becomes a problem.
I have a troubled food relationship also.
It has to be greasy or full of carbohydrates, y’know, stuff that activates the pleasure centers of my brian right away.
The healthy stuff doesn’t give me the same fix, and I feel like I have to struggle to eat it.
When I have to force myself to eat, it becomes a chore, not a reward, and I end up skipping meals and only eating when I’m really, really hungry, which means I’ll be nauseous, which gives me even more struggle to eat.
When I don’t have water available, I have little interest in eating. I found that out when the power outage happened and we couldn’t use the tap. Thirst comes first.
My appetite has been dead for weeks.
It’s terrible. I often have to force myself to eat because I will get hungry and think I am starving, so I make some food only to feel full after 2 bites?? No fun at all. I can unfortunately only eat when I’m smoking weed, which is terrible.
