She had psychological problems. She suffered from addiction and mood disorders. She spent her childhood in foster homes and orphanages. She was probably happy in some ways but unhappy in others. She had problems picking men apparently. Her marriages to Joe DiMaggio and Arthur Miller were not happy ones. And the Kennedy’s both just used her. She was born in 1926 and died in 1962 (when I was one years old).
