Someone said this to me once and I got offended

Although I know its true
”Even now your illness speaks for you and you are delusional. Do you want to continue your life like this? If not then start the medication. If you want to be a psychotic village freak for 10 years then don’t start the medication. The choice is yours."

I choose meds than being in the state I was in anyway.

That is pretty offensive, but also pretty true. I was a homeless drunk before meds. Now I’m working on my PhD at age 32. It is okay to take the long path to something.

I think sometimes you need to be offended to really understand how serious your condition is. now you realize that taking your medication is important

Yeah I don’t want brain damage

Cops helped me get back on meds. I am violent with my family off meds, they told the cops, 4 cops told me to never stop my meds again and brought me to mental hospital. My fear of them made me stay on meds.

I was in the basement yelling and hitting walls when 4 cops came to the basement. I don’t understand why 4 cops and not 1 or 2. I felt like an important criminal lol

I made holes in the walls lol

i’ve never been floridly psychotic so idk whats it like

It is rather offensive, but it is best not to dwell on such things.

I don’t think it’s necessary to call us freaks if we are unmedicated.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but that’s how I feel.

BTW… Not suggesting it’s OK to be unmedicated if psychotic… Eek
