They said they can come to your house and put you in a hospital.
Cops were at my door this morning, and they were banging so loud it woke me up. I didn’t get to answer because I was half asleep and they drove off. I’m afraid now because I had an episode last night where I talked to the on call. The on call said my case manager would get back to me first thing in the morning, and she never did. What if she thought calling the cops was better? We think it might have been something else. Can this happen? Is it likely?
I don’t think your case manager would have called the cops on you. The fact that the cops left is a good sign. Maybe there was something going on in the neighborhood. It could be a multiple of factors. They didn’t take you. That’s a good sign. It might not have been the cops. How did you know it was them if you didn’t go to the door?
I don’t want to go into the scenario now because now I have to be weary of what I post online. It was definitely the cops and my case manager is the type of person that would.
Anyone can call the cops on you not just professionals. I only had one me time where a psychiatrist called my mother and convinced her to call the cops on me. I may not have been well but it was at the start of my work vacation. It led to me getting much worse
You still need to trust the mental health professionals. It just means that you need a different one who fits your needs. I don’t know what you told your case manager but maybe she over reacted. It depends what you told her. However, you need to trust your doctors. Find one you can trust and will listen to you and get you the help you need.
