Some Decent Improvements!

So I’ve been on a pretty big fitness kick doing a lot of exercise. I started small just trying to do 10,000 steps a day. I’ve been doing double that and today I went for a jog where I made a kilometer non stop. Haven’t done that in decades! New goals is to increase those marks!

Noticing some decent improvements in motivation although at the start it was hard to get going! All in all some worthwhile progress!

haha… a mile is 1.6km’s. My next goal is two laps without stopping! So just over a mile! Thanks mate. It is a long process but it’s rewarding. Feeling good mentally is a bonus!

Thanks mate! Yeah far more organised and more motivated. It’s a catch 22. You have to do it to feel it but doing it sux and is hard! I’m glad I got through the tough month and reaping some benefits!

Yeah, the trick to getting back into jogging is to start up with a mixture of jogging and walking.

Like for example, walk 1/4th of a mile, then run 1/4th of a mile, etc. Do that for a mile.

Only do that though if your body can handle it, don’t strain yourself by any means from my advice.

Make sure to stay hydrated too. And always stretch before and after. :slight_smile:

yeah @Montezuma. It’s been over a couple of months but just been chipping away!

It’s not easy. I’ve lost weight but I’m at a point I need to increase and eat smarter. It’s so bloody hard but I’m on the path now…It does get addictive this exercise which helps. Just getting to that state is so bloody hard though hahah!
