I have said some angry and unfriendly words to
my tteatment leder. I.have’nt been sleeping for 36 hours and I now have given up on Seroquel because the drug doesn’t work.
So I have suggested to my treatment.tesm that they admit me for one week to 6 months to get.tappered of the seroquel and up to 500 mg Clopixol depot. To say strait I take the pills as.I like and.can.no longer be.thrustet taking pills so Clozapine.is out of my view point. And non of the other injections relieve my psychosis, aggitation.and anger witout causing unbearable side.effects.
Wish me luck that.I survive this dangerous tappering out of seroquel and into monoteraphy.Clopixol depot 500 mg + 2 anticolinergic pills

If I stopped Seroquel cold turkey, it would probably take about 2 weeks. But now, the Geodon I take actually overrides Seroquel withdrawal. So I could taper off Seroquel any time I want. With Geodon, no more lethargy or minor stomach pain.
Well, hope you find a combination that works.

My treatment team asked me to give thr seroquel one more chance. So I hope I will avoid those anger outburst cause it really makes me sad when I realize the things I said to my treatment team.

What’s your dose of Seroquel? I take 400 mg for sleep.
I take 600 mg Seroquel for manic psychosis and 100 mgs as needed and 400 mg Clopixol LAI every other week.
I’ve.read Seroquel works better for sleep at low doses.
Thanks God I’m finally calmed down and quiet. 4 month in an agitated state that’s what.it.took to overcome 20 years of use of the poison (Geodon.-.Ziprasidonr -.Zeldox).Now.I left.with.16 month of.minor withdrawal of.geodon

I.drcided to ask my doctor about 100 mgs more in my LAI and thrn that we start tappering down
On my Seroquel.
The injection works petfectly for psychosis, sleep and it quels anger.
Please don’t take offense about.this.
But I prefere one meds over two and a Lai over pills.

Not in my case. I was on 600 or so mg of Seroquel for a while. It made me sleep even more. 400mg I’m usually on. Don’t sleep as much on 400mg. 600 - 800mg, I was sleeping up to 15 or even 18 hours. 400mg, I can go 8 - 12 hours of sleep.
Oh wait. I think I just proved your point.

I’m sorry that I couldn’t make up my mind about Seroquel I hope that I’ll keep my decision to stay on 600 mgs Seroquel in the future.

I’ve never taken seraquel before…i was on trazadone for sleep for a few years until i told my pdoc that i didn’t want to be on it anymore. My sleep now sucks as far as straight sleep goes but i manage. Best wishes to you
I’ve totally changed my mind about Seroquel because that it’s put be to sleep for over 10 hours.each night the last 3 days.If this continues I’ve only got prais leftover for qutiapine.
