Did you experience this? I found out substances like alcohol and weed can cause this so I guess drugs too. I also think sz and mania in my case was the cause but Abilify made it even much worse. I read that concussions and brain injuries to certain brain parts can also cause social disinhibition. Anyways now I am much better on Risperidone regarding social disinhibition but not as good as before sz. When I was unmedicated I forced my gf to have sex in public places such as parking lots in my car and parks while being drunk, I believe it was the alcohol and the sz/mania. Now I wouldn’t even think about it.

Police arrested me once for public sex but they only gave me a warning and said next time I will get a fine.
weed makes me (most of the time mildly) paranoid so I smoke alone and avoid social interaction. Alcohol is definetely a social disinhibitor for me tho.
Both in moderation. When abused I don´t want to see anybody for sure!

I feel like I have fkn brain damage from sz.
Yep disinhibition is a big one, symptom that is, that I sometimes forget about. I think at times when I was socially withdrawn but disinhibited socially. A pertinent example is using a forum and posting personal stuff, embarrassing stuff etc.

I either freak out or get people interested in me during mania. When i’m manic it seems like a switch on my brain is turned from quiet to talkative. I’ts similar on alcohol, this is because it makes my mind take a break and not think that much about what to do, it might be anxiety but i doubt it. Weed makes me scared of the people or stuff im with at that moment.

I also thought I have braindamage from the many AP. But I contacted the big hospital to make them compare my MRI from before and after SZ and they said it’s mostly nothing but a bit of aging.
