So psychiatrist can legally kill us and not take any blame?

So if i developed dystonia due to bad meds so i cant bring my psychiatrist to court due to neglegence, cause i signed a piece of paper upon entering? How about my heart stopped due to massive haloperidol dose? An overseer almost punched me, so i cant do anything for being threatened by?

Theres no such thing as bad meds. Psychiatrists are some of the smartest people around, you should trust them.

@Jeffmcguire, could you please stop telling people such nonsense? Of course there are bad meds, bad side effects, bad psychiatrists, bad experiences in health care. Most psychiatrists I met were not particularly smart. My mentally ill friends are a lot smarter. You are constantly denying people’s experiences. (Maybe I’m too temperamental, but I had a real bad day with a lot of nasty games
and threats by my dad, so I’m in a bad mood…sorry).

@Newlyborn, I’m sorry something bad happened to you. I don’t know the rules in your country, but if they made real medical mistakes, you can go to court. What kind of paper did you sign? What happened? If there is real negligence or maltreatment, I think you can sue.

@Jeffmcguire Let’s try to have some compassion here. Many of us have had horrible experiences with psychiatrists and medications. It’s great that you have faith in your doctors, but this person clearly felt mistreated by theirs. You have good intentions! But this person is in distress and we should listen with an open mind.

@Newlyborn I’m so sorry that this has happened to you. I agree with Anon about grounds to sue - but what was the paper you signed? Hope you can take care in the days ahead. Wishing you the best.
