I’m switching to a general multivitamin now (without iron). The amount of b vitamins in that is much less.
Edit:unfortunately I feel I need b vitamins to tolerate abilify, so hopefully the multivitamin will do the trick. Without a massive amount of b vitamins.
I take a complete multivitamin… the only thing its really missing is protein, calcium, and just the general calories to keep a person going…
Vitamins are great… I have no dizzyness or fatigue these days (I quit smoking too though)
Anyways it was like 7 bucks for 100 vitamins… totally worth it for this feeling of security in knowing I’m getting the basics of nutrition covered. They are just the generic ones… All of the major grocer chains seem to have their own brand and they’re all basically the same…
I’ve been warned to never buy medicine online. You could be getting counterfeit vitamins. If you buy them online there’s even less regulation and could be from anyone. Don’t buy them online go local please if they make you sick also you can’t really track them down.
I’ve gone to rite aid for my vitamins. They are more expensive but at least you know they’re not fake. At my local rite aid store they have a variety of supplements not just vitamins.
My mom used to take Solgar 7 for arthritis. It really helped her. I’ve considered taking it as I’m in pain a lot of times. How did you know it was the Abilify it was interacting with?
When I take them together the chest pressure is far more intense and when eg I take the bcomplex a few hours before abilify the chest pressure is much less intense.
But the bcomplex I take is a ‘mega’ one, so that’s why I hope the ordinary multivitamin with much less of everything will pan out.
