So I had a call today for an invitation for a job interview

I tried to call him back but got to voice message.

Left an AWFUL nervous, awkward, shaky voice message about Bla Bla.

I tried to call the manager up about 3 times within the space of two hours.

So that’s two things I did wrong.

Kicking myself because it was a good role in a good location.

Idk man. You live and you learn the hard way :unamused:

Basically I think he is not going to call me back now.

VERY ANNOYING

Basically I have indeed been getting job interview invitations but I keep ruining it with my nerves.

Sigh

Just try to relax and stay positive. You will do great. :shark::shark::shark:

Hey, if you’re getting a call for an interview, you’ve already stood out from the pack in a positive way

Try having someone ask you interviewing questions so you’re more prepared. Also, practice leaving call back messages with others so you’re prepared for that too

Hey, you’re still in the running for the job aren’t you? You don’t say anywhere that he actually rejected you.

This may be fixable. Calling three times in two hours is not outrageously too much. And if you reach the manager just be a little more forceful and steady; if he likes you he may overlook that first phone call.

Thanks Nick. You’re right, I’ll give him another call on Wednesday lol. At least that shows that I’m keen and reallly interested.

From now on I’m not going to leave voice messages again until I grow in confidence.

Because I am OK with phone calls sort of, compared to voice messages. Voice messages are the worst!
