I have been waiting 4 days for a response for a psych nurse position and had no replies yet. I interviewed there and expected a reply sooner. Do you think I didn’t get the job?
You should probably call up to follow up
Yeah I would but I don’t know who to contact.
When I used to be a part of the hiring process where I worked sometimes it took up to two weeks to hire someone. Picking candidates. Calling references and previous employers. Etc etc. All takes a lot of time especially when it’s hard to get a hold of people. I wouldn’t worry yet.
I’m in a different position than you. Most of my jobs have been unskilled labor. So when I apply for these jobs and I get interviewed and I don’t hear anything from them I generally will go back three or four days later. Sometimes I just call on the phone. Going back is good because it will show you really care about getting the job. Going back will help make you stick in their mind when they are making the decision on who to hire.
Once took me 6 months and 6 interviews. Wouldn’t worry about a few days
Definitely call them to show that you are willing to work for the position and are eager to try your best with the company. If you don’t know who to speak to just call their main line and ask to speak to hiring assistance. The person who answers the phone should know where to transfer the call to. And when they do just ask about the status of your application or your employment if your application has already been accepted. Good luck friend.
U may get the job …john i am optimistic…can u call them …
