I will report back I just don’t feel it went as well as I’d hope. I was nervous and couldn’t answer some questions.

I would be interested to know because my understanding is adhd is the opposite of schizophrenia ie too little dopamine

I would also be interested to know as well @anon93189286

Last time I was sectioned they put me on concerta for possible ADHD and it didn’t work so I wasn’t Diagnosed with ADHD. I got diagnosed with Mania instead so would be interested in know the overlap of ADHD and bipolar?

Thats interesting @anon93189286 … I had no idea. she did question how I got diagnosed with bipolar early on though but will wait and see what happens tomorrow … when I hopefully get the results.

I edited my post because I wrote concrete instead of concerta

I was just doing a little bit of research and found that stimulants are not good for people with psychosis. There is a non stimulant alternative.

@anon25873142 I also have read this.

My pdoc flatly refuses me antidepressants for SZA because he says they will make me manic. I have to have epilim mood stabilisers which make me flat as a pancake plus the weight gain.

I can’t take antidepressants because one made me psychotic. So they also advised to stay away from the whole lot of them. I don’t know if I have mania, it just made me psychotic.

@bobbilly @anon25873142

I did not tolerate ADs either

But Vortioxetine works really great

It’s different to the others somehow

Something to do with modular

my pdoc is a prick…He’s not tolerant with me taking any AD - just mood stabilizers which are messed up for me.

I have ADHD inattentive type - she’s a bit reluctant to put me on meds because of my diagnosis but if I want to request I have to go through my GP. Again.
