So anyway. Took an extra dose of L-theanine. Feel calm

I take 600mg of L-theanine at 6pm everyday.

Today I felt like I was going bananas :banana:. I don’t have a PRN like cloneazepam so I took another 600mg of L-theanine at about 10pm and now everything’s ok again.

It was a pretty scary episode though. I was thinking a lot of self destructive thoughts.

I think having a PRN is important and maybe an extra dose of L-theanine can be mine.

I never liked L Theanine, it rushes blood to my prefrontal cortex and it reminds me of the times that I used to smoke marijuana. It is very beneficial for people with SZA/SZ however because of its NMDA agonist activity.

No. Normally I don’t have anxiety problems. I take another supplement called beta alanine which gets rid of anxiety.

But I’ll have a “crisis” every so often. At least I know what to do now.

That’s awesome it works so well for you. I’ve never tried taking that high of a dose. I usually limit it too 300. Maybe next time I’m feeling crazy I’ll try more.

You are lucky because this supplement works so well for you @everhopeful I tried it before but failed. It gave me migraine.

Maybe start out on 300mg. 100mg does nothing. It starts to work within an hour generally. Try some stuff that says “suntheanine” as that’s generally good quality. Suntheanine is available from different manufacturers.

Good ol Klonopin. Miss it. Low dose but it helped.
