Snap out of it

Wouldn’t it be nice if we could just snap out of it? I mean how much is due to us being over sensitive and catastrophising?

One day for sure they’ll pick up a pill that will cure us of all our problems…well most of the physical ones!

I see that day closer in my lifetime which is great. I expect that.

I look to schizophrenics from yesteryear and that was a clusterFock…I used to talk to people who lived in mental institutions…their postal address was the mental wards…

It’ll happen. I’m 47…it may be too late for me but I will be living to the fullest I can do to the end!

the negative thoughts are like: stranded in a thunderstorm. That is how I feel. I believe most of it so I can not snap out of it. The more I think, the worse it gets and it is never ending :scream_cat:

Wouldn’t it be a hoot if they did come up with a ‘cure’ for Sz tomorrow, but due to our own faulty thinking, we didn’t improve any.

Here we’d sit, complaining it didn’t work because we didn’t return us to our preSz selves, in mind and body.

Or at least the us we thought we were, totally forgetting how it really was, instead, glorifying only the best parts, magnifying all the negative…totally distorted thinking?

It would have to ‘cure’ the way we thought about ourselves as well as heal our past hurts and regrets.

It would have to change us into something we thought we should be without any effort on our part.
Hehehe,
How many of us could handle being a success anyway, med cure or not?
