I’ve been having canned sardines mixed with mayo, salt, and pepper.
Yum my mum used to give them to me on toast when I was a boy.
Sardines are really good for you:
Rich in Omega-3 Fatty Acids:
Sardines are an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, particularly EPA and DHA. Omega-3s have numerous health benefits, including reducing the risk of heart disease, lowering blood pressure, and improving brain function.
Sweet, didn’t even know that.
Tortilla crisps and dips/salsa, anchovies on toast. cheesy crumpets,
Got some flavored cottage cheese I’m gonna try
And sunchips and kettle cooled chips are not bad at all for healthier chips. Kettlechips have fiber and protein even, lower sodium. Fiber helps you stay fuller easier so you don’t overeat
These taste great too, tons of fiber. I had gotten 18 for under $10 not bad
Woah! That’s healthy, congrats. How is dieting/gym going?

yum. do you get tuna in a can? with oil or water?
Tuna in all its forms is pretty great
Right now, I’ve actually got tuna packets that are flavored— really been digging the sweet & spicy and bacon ranch flavors .
How about you?
I get tuna in a can with olive oil. The ones in water are kind of tasteless.
I mix mine with mayo and occasonally put in some hot sauce
Those sound tasty, the tuna packets I mean. I think I’ve seen them at the store, I’ll have to get them.
WAIT A MINUTE IM TALKING ABOUT TUNA, WiTH TUNA!!!
Tuna mayo is a classic. With potatoes, rice or even in a sandwich.
I like normal tuna (in oil) with homemade mayo. I also like to add corn grains, onions or both!
@Nomad: yes, tuna in olive oil is faaaancy and does taste almost meatier than tuna in water
Haha, whoaaaaa farrr out mannnn!
Sounds fiiiiiire!
Omg I get those tuna packets for my teenage boys as they are protein packed. The Thai chili ones are our favs.
Boogers are pretty yummy
Ooooh, Thai chili sounds gooood!
Due to my health issues I don’t eat them all the time. But I prep and have these ingredients around for my growing teenagers at all times. I rotate the menu for variety. They are high in protein and nutritious for my kids as well.
Nonfat Greek yogurt with fresh fruit
Veggie sticks and hummus
Cucumbers in oil and vinegar dressing with dill weed and feta
Sharp cheddar slices with apple slices
Soft boiled eggs with salt and pepper
Pickled herring and wheat thins
Chicken salad wrap
Broccoli Greek yogurt salad with bacon bits and pineapple
Beef jerky
Marinated chicken wings for the air fryer
Homemade egg burrito
Tuna packets for either rice or on bread
Dried fruits and nuts
Eggs and toast
Chocolate mousse pudding
I forgot to add that I bought a very cheap mini fridge that we call the snack fridge. I store all snack foods in the fridge so when the kids are hungry I direct them there. They are allowed to ask for their favs when it’s restocking time. I have a chart that keeps track of what’s been taken and it tells the kids what to eat first so no food goes to waste. The only issue is the two littles help themselves too much with free rein so they have to tell me when they are taking something. The teenagers can have as much as they want.
Spicy tortilla chips
Turkey sticks, fruit, yogurt, vegetables.
