Many people eat tin tuna, that’s cool, but have you ever tried herring, smoked oysters, kippers, and sardines?
I crave lately. King Oscar brand is good. Smoked coho salmon from bumblebee is always good. Fishwife chili crisp.
I have a problem…nom
Anyone else hopelessly lost in the addictions of tinned fish?

My favourites are salmon, tuna, oysters, squid and octopus.
Cod and Hake if they are well prepared.
I don’t like to eat fishbones. Sardines are not for me.
Edit: you were talking about tinned fish lol

I’m eating a box of tuna as we speak cause I didn’t have the energy to cook something. It tastes like cardboard tbh, I just need some protein.

Yeah canned tuna alone tastes awful. I like to mix it with rice and mayo…

Nice one, need to try that

Mashed potatoes/sweet potatoes also work. Or just a tuna/corn/onion/mayo sandwich…
@magz if you dont have energy to cook rice, hoard on those 1 min. Microwave rice packs lol.

I had some octopus in olive oil I liked, just some white rice.
I love my herring with some dill, and Dijon mustard.
Salmon usually with lemon.
Made a great salad out of some crab chunks.
It’s awesome what they can can.

Salmon goes very well with dill sauce.
I like my octopus with salt, olive oil and sweet paprika.

That’s a great idea, thanks. And mayo, how much of that?

Yeah for different things I suppose. I like tinned anchovies with Pasta al assassina.

Well yeah at taste probably. There’s no guideline. If I’m doing can of tuna + box of instant rice, probably 2 big spoons.
It’s not very tasty with little mayo, but it’s gross if you put too much. Probably, best is to start with little until you find your sweet spot.

Patagonia has a line of this stuff I tried to get into it

I like canned sardines in mustard or hot sauce. I’ve never had canned octopus or oysters, i think it would be neat to try them but the local grocery stores don’t carry it.

I sometimes eat it with pasta. It tastes allright. I never eat more than 2 cans a week because of the heavy metals risk.

I forgot to mention spanish baby eels (gulas)
Angulas are baby eels, a pale, 3-inch-long, worm-shaped seafood with a mild flavor. They are fried in oil and a delicacy in Spain's Basque country.
