If you aren’t tired you might be hypomanic. If you are exhausted then it is something else. Either one is insomnia and worth contacting your pdoc after a few days.

Any recent changes in lifestyle or medication?
By changes in lifestyle I mean stuff that may increase your stress levels or make you worry constantly.

Since I take a small dose of Olanzapine, my sleep has improved a lot

Takes a bit of searching, but there may be a medication solution

I’d bring this up with the doctor

Yes I will talk to doc ,
but I visit in 6 months,
It one of the best in country due to which waiting period is about 3 hours…
After going there…
I dont want to add additional meds…

I have been in aripaprazole for almost 4 years now and in the last visit it was made 10 in morning and 10 in night…
I took 20 in night and had good sleep as before…
I dont want any addition meds to sleep…
Just concerned my system may change…or the arip won’t work…

But I will go to doc,
if this sleep pattern start to vary…
To a private doctor…

That happened to me recently and I was ~manic~. Sudden onset of insomnia is usually the first warning sign I’m in a manic episode.

For me it was like I couldn’t sleep because I was bursting with nervous energy and so excited (for no known reason?) and my mind wouldn’t slow down and there were too many things I wanted to do to sleep.

How are you now? What changes. You made ?

Well I was unfortunately unable to get in contact with my doctor so had to do self-treatment. I started by not forcing myself to go to sleep at a certain time and just letting my body sleep when it naturally wanted to. This helped me go from getting 0 hrs of sleep to arpund 3 hours of sleep a day, though it did make my circadian rhythm wacky. My sleep medicine was doing absolutely nothing even at the highest dose so I stopped taking it to lose tolerance. After a few weeks of this my mania started to wind down naturally & now that I had lost tolerance to my sleep med it worked again at the lowest dose. Now i have been able to use my sleep med to get a full nights rest.

I would recommend talking to your doctor if you can over doing what I did. I only did what I did because I couldn’t get an appointment.

I slept once while working three days back and one of the Manager caught me sleeping, after that another manager requested my colleague keep an eye on me… :frowning:
I dont care now if they want they should through me off the company I won’t quit is one thing I have decided. :crossed_fingers:
Because all the company I worked I quit by self.
I have also got 30% hike in salary…
One thing is never ever shall I give my 100% for a job so that I won’t be disappointed.
And think of work only at time of work.
But this sleep is a different game…
I want to be in a controlled manic state but should not impact later on…

Thanks @Jonathan2 how are you ? You said you will work from September did you start ?

Thank you for asking.

I didn’t start. My symptoms flared up in expectation of starting and I decided it was too early. So now I’m going to start a Masters in Mental Health Science in January.

Trying to keep me active.
