Since injection - i am sleeping 10-12 hours a day
When you wake up, isn’t your brain very well … mine is when I sleep so long
No i dont like sleeping more than 7-8 hours. It is dysfunctional?
I know how you feel @sleepybug
Since increasing my medication doses, I’m sleeping up to 14 hours a day!
I sleep that much normally and I’m not on any meds at all -.-
Lol depends on ur age too i guess?? During my teenage years i wanted to sleep too
@everhopeful do you think the injection decreases appetite or is it Wellbutrin? I dont have any appetite whatsoever
I’m 21 :o I could sleep ages though. I pretty much sleep all day if allowed.
Abilify increases my appetite and I have to take a bcomplex to counteract that. But loss of appetite is a listed side effect of abilify. I don’t know much about wellbrutin.
@sleepybug - Wellbutrin has the potential to surpress appetite as well.
I sleep that much without meds
I sleep 10-12 hours a night and it’s still difficult for me to wake up in the morning. I even go to bed really early, like 7-8pm, so that I can wake up in the morning and I still can barely get out of bed.
I sleep 5 hours a day 2-7 am weekends like 2-9. If I sleep for 9+ hours I wake up with a huge headache and feeling like crap
i stay up to text my partner while she is on break and call her. she works third shift at a nursing home. i sleep about 10 hours a a day.
I’ve had an experiment with Wellbutrin recently. I was taking 200 x 2 daily. I thought it made me too edgy, so I had the doctor take me completely off it. I started to seriously crave alcohol. I’ve been sober for a year, but if I had the chance I would have gotten drunk. Then I asked my pdoc to put me back on 100 x 2 daily Wellbutrin, and the craving went away. I felt much better. You have to be kind of careful with Wellbutrin. It can be harder to come off than you might think.
As for the sleeping - Is it disrupting your life? If your schedule will allow it, maybe the extra sleep will do you some good. You have to decide for yourself. If the extra sleep is unbearable to you maybe you should talk to your pdoc about changing med’s.
I sleep about the same, before I got sick I only slept like 5 or 6 hours a night. I think the extra sleep helps with symptoms.
I regularly sleep up to 9-11 hours a night or sometimes during the day, if I happen to be up all night. Feels great too.
