I’m on Seroquel, too, but I’ve been given meds in the morning to (ideally) help perk me up and stay awake during the day. They have been working. I sleep from 9:30-5am on most days, though I admittedly wake several times in the night. I’m able to go back to sleep if I wake up before, say, 3:00 or so. When I was on Saphris, I slept all day, and I couldn’t go to sleep at night. Still, I probably slept 14 hours a day. The medication I’m on to wake me up is Wellbutrin and Abilify.

Yeah, I sleep about 10-11 hours now. It used to be more when I was on higher dose of zyprexa.

Omg guys!

When I added GABA and CBD recently it has been knocking me for 10. But I haven’t slept 12 hours since I was on abilify years ago. The Bupropion really messes with your sleep it gives me the inability to stay asleep, not in a good way, in a functional but never fully rested way. I think Bupropion and stimulants can mess with your cortisol levels. Obviously there is no good way out of the trap of sleeping that many hours. I’ve tried and yeah years later my sleep is still intermittently terrible which is probably my major issue in terms of functionality also tbh.

You should all be so happy that you sleep that well. 12 hours is a dream sleep.

Do you take your buproprion in the morning? I find taking buproprion in the morning helped with my sleep.

I sleep 10-12 at night and then take a 2 hour nap every day. I find that my sleep score (my smart watch tracks sleep habits) has a lot to do with how tired i am the next night. I can sleep for 12 hours and wake up exhausted because i slept like poop. Or i can wake up refreshed and ready to fight another day, sometimes even after 9 hours im like that.

Its not just about the length of sleep, its about the quality.

Initially Id say it’s okay, but down the road when your body’s used to the medication, it should be lower.

Thats simply great for all of you but 900 mgs Seroquel keeps mr awaken for long periods of time so I’m going to lowering thst to 800 mg.

Once I got on quetiapine I started getting 8 to 8.5 hours. Basically doubled my sleep. That’s on 300 mg

I sleep about that long usually on meds. Off meds I still get around 10 anyway. I don’t mind

900 Seroquel doesn’t make you sleepy, how is that possible.
