I recently quit ambien, zyprexa or a combination of both at night for using doxepin purely as a sleep aid…its only an antidpressant. Yet twice now i have taken it been lying down and then gotten up to go downstairs and found i could not see myself getting safely to the bottom. When i have taken it at an earlier time i have found myself getting up from dinner and being equally discombobulated as if i were a very painful, Strange kind of drunk. Anyone else ever taken doxepin or experienced this with sleep med?
once on ambien I was playing skyrim and had to pee… the short walk from living room to bathroom turned into a forest and I had to fend off a dragon… my roommate said I was air sword fighting apparently I slayed the dragon, peed and returned to the couch and warned my roommate of the dam dragon guarding the bathrooms in one of those moods again so be careful… he still thinks its hilarious years later…
sleep meds can mess you up be careful trying to do too much…
hey,
Go see a gp and check out your heart/ blood pressure.
It’s not cool losing your balance etc and it may not have anything to do with the medications.
If it’s affecting function then see a doc…ie if it’s not psychiatric then seek a general practitioner!
A friend in the struggle,
Rogueone.
I was that way with 200mg serequel. I had to change to a less sedating ap. Usually the ones that stay in your system longer such as risperidone don’t quite hit your system as hard. In less than half a day those Susie’s are out so pretty much the whole dose hits at once. That makes a difference. Zyprexa is sedating too but more so in the mornings for me not at night. Talk to your doc about it. good luck to u! Hope this helps
