I’ve been on weight watchers for four days now. I have lost maybe two pounds. Idk I must have been right on the edge with weight cause my sleep apnea hasn’t been bothering me as much. I’m eating healthy and am not as stuffed all the time. It’s crazy. I might not get the sleep study done. I’m expecting a call in the next three weeks for one. By that time hopefully I will have lost more weight. We’ll see where this goes.
I would recommend still doing the sleep study. That way you will know for sure if you have sleep apnea or not.

I only wouldn’t if it doesn’t seem to affect me at all. I noticed where I usually choke turned into a snore type thing, but air got through. Sleep apnea is a recent thing to happen to me at around 254lbs. I might have been right on the edge with my weight. Ill still consider it, but if I’m not choking I’m probably not gonna try for a cpap machine.
How can you tell what you are doing, in terms of breathing, while you’re asleep?
It closes before I fall asleep once I relax enough. And my sleep was better last night and during my nap today. It’s when I’m on my back mainly. It’s uncomfortable.
Do the sleep study anyway, it will give you a definite answer. I was on a CPAP after being diagnosed with sleep apnea but after I lost a lot of weight they did a repeat sleep study and found out I no longer had sleep apnea…but I’m glad they did the second sleep study just to be sure. Does anyone want to buy a CPAP machine?
