Sleep apnea

I definitely have sleep apnea. I keep waking up and I don’t feel well. I talked to a friend and he told me to sleep on my side. Tomorrow I’m going to get a pcp and have them set up an appointment to a sleep clinic. I’m ready to get this resolved.

I suffer from sleep apnea. It sucks. I bought the CPAP machine but it makes me feel like I’m choking.

I also bought a mouth piece (snorban) against snoring. I’m going to start using it today.

I woke up several times without being able to breathe. It’s really annoying.

I feel like I choke when I stick my head out the car window. Have you gotten a full nights sleep yet? This is a giant pain in the ass. I’ve had a headache the past couple days and I don’t know if it’s lack of oxygen or allergies. Probably allergies but it’s scary. I had a mini nde from not breathing in my sleep. I woke up sweaty with my heart beating harder than I thought was possible.

Yes! Sometimes I wake up from my heart racing. I think it’s the body reacting to feeling like being choked.

I ordered a treadmill today. I need to get serious about weight loss. That could help. I’m back up to 250lbs. I’d be happy weighing 200. 180 is my ultimate goal.

Mine wasn’t racing it wasn’t even pounding it was violent. I woke was like oh ■■■■ then laid my head back down. Next, a vision of a nice fall woods started to materialize and I saw a bright light. No ■■■■. I got up after that. I think I was passing to the other side lol.

I weigh about 220lbs. I’m too fat! I need to start exercising but lack the motivation. I don’t know why? Before Sz I worked out 3-6 times a week.

I had abs in my late teens. My friend and I used to go to the gym every other day. Beyond that I skateboarded daily. Yeah I was 145lb when I went to the hospital. Weighed 160 when I got out and it’s been downhill ever since. I haven’t been able to commit either. I’m hoping since I’m home so much I’ll use the treadmill. Changing my diet would be important too.

I’m 5’9. Yes, we are overweight.

I tried the fasting diet recently but I also sleep too much so there is no point for the diet because I’m sleeping my days away.

Man I miss my old self. I guess I’m stuck being fat, tired and anxious. Lol!

I’ve lost 30lbs twice. The first time was through weight watchers. I was hungry all the time though. I still haven’t given up lol. The meds I’m on don’t cause weight gain like the newer ones so I should have a better chance controlling my appetite. Idk it’s hard. We’ll see.

If hunger is the problem ask your doc for ozempic?

I’m not really hungry and I eat healthy. The problems is that I suffer from negs and don’t really move a lot.

If you’re comfortable and healthy and happy with how you look it doesn’t seem like a big deal. Like most people here though weight is something that I’ve wanted to get under control forever.

Cool I don’t know if I’d want to take ozempic yet. I could definitely eat better. I move around some, but not enough really. I think a place for me to start would be three regular home cooked meals a day. Instead of eating whatever when I get hungry. It’d help with waste too.

No, I’m not happy with my body. I gained about 66lbs on olanzapine.

If I had the money I would do a liposuction.

I’d get my man boobs reduced lol. I think they’d shrink down enough though if I were to lose weight.

My pdoc is supposed to set me up a sleep study. I guess they just give you a device for monitoring at home these days instead of making you go to a hospital or whatever.
